Dow and Europe were all up on Friday. Dow +111 at 15237.
Dow's trend is turning up. Dow's future is now -83. Europe
opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei and Hangseng were closed.
ShanghaiC +10. STI closed -10 at 3169. Volume was 2b shares.
Trend of STI is slipping down again.
Top volumes were SingHaiyi +0.1, Sunmoon -0.1, Innopac
-0.8, YHM -0.2, Albedo -0.4, Ipco -0.1, GentingHK -0.5, ICP unchanged,
HanKore -0.1, Rowsley -1.5.
Market opened down but fell further with Dow's future
down about 100 pts. It recovered slightly along the day to close off its
low.With Nikkei and Hangseng closed and tomorrow a public holiday here,
market activity was very low.
Blue chips were weaker. Penny and speculatives were mostly
in the red with little interest.
Europe is steady but Dow's future rather weak dragged
down by the impasse in the US. A solution should be coming out soon and
should bring the market back up.
