Dow and Europe pulled back slightly
last night. Dow -36 at 16360. Dow's trend is up. Dow's
future is +33 at this moment. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+237, ShanghaiC +7, Hangseng +123. STI closed +13 at 3129. Volume
was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 251 to 205 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were HanKore +0.7, Memstar
+0.5, Centurion +4, Transcu unchanged, AdvSCT unchanged, ThBev -2, Albedo
unchanged, GoldenAgr +1, SIIC +0.4, Noble unchanged.
Market opened flat but traded up to
close +12.5. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives were generally
firmer. Market has resumed its up trend but could pull back tomoro for
the weekend. The crisis at Ukraine has cooled down but could still flare
up if the US decides to up the stake.
Dow and Europe are looking good at the
moment.
