Dow and Europe were all up last night.
Dow +75 at 16533. Dow's trend is turning up. Dow's future is
now +20. Europe opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+154, ShanghaiC +12, Hangseng +75. STI -9 at 3190. Volume ws
2.3b shares. Gainers were 219 against 244 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Noble +6, HanKore -0.3,
CharismaEner unchanged, AdvSct unchanged, Blumont -0.9, Transcu unchanged,
ICP unchanged, TTInt +0.6, Rowsley +2, Albedo -0.1.
Market opened up but slipped to negative
in late afternoon trade. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives
were also mixed. STI has been up for nearly two weeks and looks like some
profit taking is setting in.
Europe and Dow are looking positive
for tonight.
