Dow and Europe were slightly down last
night. Dow -21 closing at 16722. Dow's trend is up but levelling.
Dow's future is now -3. Europe opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly weaker. Nikkei
+34, ShanghaiC -13, Hangseng -139. STI closed -14 at 3282. Volume
was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 169 to 280 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn down
Top volumes were WCorp +0.9, AdvanceSCT
unchanged, GoldenAgri -1, KianHo +3, KLW -0.4, STATSChippac +12.5, Memstar
+0.1, Federal -0.1, HPHTrust +0.5, APAC +0.1.
Market opened flat but slipped down
through the day to close -14. Volume was 2b but likely to be computer
trading. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives were weaker.
STATSChipPac was the big gainer gaining 12.5c from 49c to 61.5c.
Europe and Dow are looking slightly
weaker for tonight.
