Dow and Europe were all up last night.
Dow closed +78 at 17138. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is now +77.
Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-9, ShanghaiC -12, Hangseng -2. STI closed -2 at 3302. Volume
was 2.5b shares. Gainers were 218 to 220 losers.
Short term trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Jaya +1.5, OLS -0.1,
Memstar unchanged, Mirach +0.2, AdvanceSCT -0.1, SIIC +0.1, IHC +0.5, APAC
-0.1, OttoMarine +0.4, Sincap -0.4.
Market opened positive but slipped down
through the day to close -2. However, during matching there were some short
covering to turn a negative closing into positive at +2. Volume improved
slightly to cross the 2b mark.
Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives
were likewise mixed.
Dow's future is positive at the moment
but Europe are mostly down.
