Europe were marginally up last night.
Dow closed -27 at 17087. Trend of Dow is still up. Dow's future
is now +21. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
-44, ShanghaiC +27, Hangseng +170. STI closed +13 at 3354. Volume
was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 245 to 198 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Spackman +4, IHC -0.5,
APAC -0.2, Jaya -0.3, ThaiBev +1.5, ChinaSports +0.6, GoldenAgri unchanged,
Blumont -0.3, MDR unchanged, LottVision +0.2, WCorp unchanged.
Market opened slightly up but stayed
relatively flat. It moved up slightly and only closed at day high after
matching. Blue chips were firmer and banks continued to move up. Penny
and speculatives too were firmer.
Europe and Dow are looking steady at
the moment.
