Dow and Europe were down last night.
Dow -32 at 16880. Dow's trend is down. Dow's future is now
-85. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -25,
ShanghaiC +20, Hangseng +25. STI closed +20 at 3374. Volume
was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 215 to 265 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Artivision, -1.2, IHC
+0.5, Xpress +0.1, Jaya -0.4, Capitaland +13, GoldenAgri -0.5, OLS -11.3,
Terratech -2, Equation unchanged, Singtel +7.
Market opened flat but gathered strength
through the day. It closed off its day high of 3388. Blue chips were mostly
up with banks continued to make gains. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking weak tonight.
Dow could be starting on a down trend.
