Europe and Dow were slightly down last
night. Dow -44 at 17024. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is
now -20. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -85,
ShanghaiC +4, Hangseng +0.5. STI closed -8 at 3283. Volume
was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 187 to 242 losers.
Short term trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were CompactMetal +0.5,
WE +0.1, WCorp +0.1, Vibrant +0.5, Oceanus +0.2, Transcu unchanged, PNE+0.2,
Sunningdale +2.5, MirachEnergy +0.2, SeeHupSeng -3.
Market opened down and remained down
the whole day but closed off its low of 3278. Blue chips were mostly in
the red. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking a bit weaker
at the moment.
