Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow
closed +30 at 17107. Dow's short term trend is reversing up again.
Dow's future is now +14. Europe opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+14, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng -156. STI closed +18 at 3341. Volume
was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 236 to 198 losers.
Short term trend of STI is turning up
again.
Top volumes were Jaya +0.1, JES +0.2,
IHC +1, APAC +0.1, Weiye +0.3, STATS +5.5, Envictus +2, Genting +3.5, Digiland
unchanged, Mirach -0.2.
Market opened up and continue to gain
strength through the session. It closed near to day high. Volume has increased
slightly but still below 2b shares. Blue chips were mostly up. Penny and
speculatives were generally firmer.
Europe are slightly down at the moment
while Dow's future is slightly up.
