Dow and Europe were slightly up on Friday.
Dow's trend is sliding down. Dow's future is now -17. Europe
opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+52, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng +10. STI closed -13 at 3314. Volume
was 2b shares. Gainers were 150 to 280 losers.
Short term trend is turning down.
Top gainers were Digiland unchanged,
Blumont -0.2, IHC +0.5, APAC -0.1, MDR -0.1, STATSChipPac -6, OLS -0.1,
Weiye +0.2, MirachEnergy -0.2, LionGold -0.7.
STI opened flat but slipped down by
late morning and stayed down through the afternoon session to close near
day low. Volume slightly improved but still below 2b shares. Blue
chips have more losers than gainers. Penny and speculatives were
also generally weaker.
Dow and Europe are looking a bit weak
at the moment.
