Europe were flat on Friday. Dow was
closed. Dow's short term trend is flattening. Dow's future is now
+40. Europe opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+182, ShanghaiC +31, Hangseng -3. STI closed +12 at 3326. Volume
was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 222 to 228 losers.
Short term trend of STI is slipping
down.
Top volumes were Digiland +0.1, SingaporeeDev
+0.1m STATSChip -6.5, IHC -0.5, AdvanceSCT unchanged, MDR unchanged, Mirach
unchanged, APAC unchanged, Weiye +0.1, Artivision +0.3.
Market opened marginally up and stayed
up the whole day. It started to move further up after lunch to close near
day high. Another quiet trading day. Blue chips were seeing more
gainers. Penny and speculatives were flat.
Europe and Dow are looking firm at the
moment.
