Europe were mixed and relatively flat
on Friday. Dow closed +14 at 17280. Short term trend of Dow is up.
Dow's future is now -48. Europe mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly down and quite
sharply. Nikkei - 115, ShanghaiC -40, Hangseng - 351. STI
closed -5 at 3300. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 165
to 289 losers.
Short term trend of STI is weakening
and still down.
Top volumes were LCDGlobalInv +0.5,
SingaporeeDev unchanged, APAC unchanged, Digiland unchanged, IHC unchanged,
SIIC +0.2, Acma +0.3, GoldenAgri +1.5, Pacific Century unchanged, LionGold
-0.3.
Market opened up but fell after an hour
to stay slightly down through the day. It closed at day low at -8. Volume
was low at below 2b shares. Blue chips were mixed but the general
market was weaker with more losers than gainers.
Asian markets were looking weak. Europe
opened mixed but is now slightly lower. Dow's future is also lower
at the moment.
