Europe and Dow were all up last night.
Dow opened down but ended +221. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future
is now +170. Europe opened strongly up.
Asian bourses rallied with very big
gains. Nikkei +756, ShanghaiC +29, Hangseng +296. STI closed
+34 at 3269. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 363 to 121 losers.
Trend of STI has turned up.
Top volumes were APAC +0.4, OLS unchanged,
IHC unchanged, JES +0.6, Noble +0.5, Mirach +0.3, Genting +4, SingaporeeDev
+0.1, Blumont +0.2, Oceanus +0.1.
Market opened up. It climbed higher
through the session in line with regional bourses. Dow's overnight gain
and month end window dressing could bring all the forces together to push
the market higher. Blue chips were strong with banks making good
gains following the results of UOB and OCBC. Penny stocks and speculatives
were also mostly green.
Europe and Dow's future are very firm
at the moment. All the charts are looking up, a big contrast to all the
bad news a few weeks back.
