Europe and Dow were marginally up last
night. Dow closed +41 at 17653. Uptrend of Dow is showing it
still got some strength. Dow's future is flat at this moment. Europe
also opened flat.
Asian bourses were generally up. Nikkei
+98, ShanghaiC -8, Hangseng +67. STI closed +7 at 3312. Volume
was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 219 to 254 losers.
Trend of STI is flat but slightly upward
biased.
Top volumes were Memstar +0.4, OLS +0.1,
SIIC +0.5, GoldenAgri -0.5, Equation +0.1, IHC +0.5, Genting +1, Weiye
+0.1, Charisma -0.1, ResourcesPrima +0.1.
Market opened marginally up and stayed
that way for the most part of the session. Blue chips were mixed.
Penny and speculatives slightly weaker. It was a directionless session
for a Friday.
Europe and Dow are flat at the moment.
