Europe were marginally up on Friday.
Dow closed -18 at 17635. Trend of Dow is still up but slacking
a bit. Dow's future is now -28. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-517, ShanghaiC -4, Hangseng -290. STI closed -28 at 3288. Volume
was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 153 to 352 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were ThaiBev -4.5, Memstar
-0.1, GoldenAgri -1, IHC -0.5, Genting unchanged, SIIC -0.5, Ezion -5.5,
Charisma -0.2, SingTel -4, JES -0.2.
Market opened marginally down but fell
further when regional bourses fell sharply. STI closed at day low. Blue
chips were mostly weaker. Penny and speculatives were mostly in the
red.
The recent uptrend is looking at reversing.
Europe and Dow are looking a bit weak
at the moment.
