Dow and Europe were up on Friday. Dow
closed +195 at 17391. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is now -19.
Europe opened flat.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
closed. ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng -82. STI closed +14 at 3288.
Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 293 to 168 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Charisma +0.8, CompactMetal
+0.4, JES +0.6, Mirach +0.8, Vallianz +1.4, IHC unchanged, PerennialCRT
+1.5, Blumont +0.4, ThaiBev -1, Jaya +0.6.
Market opened up and hit a high of 3296
before retreating. It closed off its high iwth a 14 pt gain. Volume has
increased to 2.4b shares. Blue chips were general firmer with banks
making good gains. There were more gainers than losers and penny
and speculatives were seeing more greens.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly
weaker at the moment.
