Europe and Dow were sharply down last
night. Dow -100 closing at 17181. Dow's trend is down. Dow's
future is now +7. Europe opened sharply down.
Asian bourses were sharply down as well
but ShanghaiC bucked the trend closing +68. Nikkei - 344, Hangseng
-357. STI closed -79 at 3216. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers
were 107 to 337 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were IHC unchanged, SIIC
-0.1, GSH +0.3, Mirach unchanged, Genting -4.5, LottVision -0.2,
SingTel -10, Noble -5, GlobalLogistics -2, GoldenAgri -1.
Market opened down and fell further
through the day. It closed at day low at 3216. Blue chips
were mostly in the red. Banks recent run up is seeing profit taking
and selling down. Penny and speculatives too were seeing more losers.
Europe is looking quite weak at the
moment while Dow's future is slightly positive.
