Dow and Europe were marginally up last
night. Dow closed +4 at 17515. Trend of Dow is creeping up. Dow's
future is now -51. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly up but Nikkei
-86. ShanghaiC +150, Hangseng + 401. STI closed +20 at 3354.
Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 264 to 201 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were AdvanceSCT unchanged,
ResourcesPrima +1, GoldenAgri -1, SIIC +0.3, IHC unchanged, Genting +1,
Electromotive -0.2, Mirach +0.4, PacificAndes unchanged, Noble -1.
STI opened flat but moved up immediately
to stay positive for the whole day. It closed at day high with some short
covering during matching trades. Blue chips were mostly up. Penny
and speculatives too were firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are negative
at the moment.
