Europe were mostly up on Friday but
Dow closed -141 at 17673. The break up from the recent falling short term
trend is taking a break. Dow's future is now -70. Europe opened slightly
down.
Asian bourses were relatively flat and
mixed. STI closed -14 at 3397. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers
were 209 to 281 losers.
Short term uptrend is still holding
but weakening.
Top volumes were Tigerair +6, IHC unchanged,
Armarda unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, Keppel Land +90, SIIC +0.2, Noble
-3, Swiber +1, HPHTrust +1.5, KeppelCorp +6.
STI opened down and stayed down the
whole session but within a small range. It closed near day low, -14 pts.
Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculative stocks were also mixed.
Europe is improving at the moment but
Dow's future is down.
