Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow
closed +212 at 17885. Dow's trend is turning up. Dow's future is
now +18. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+144, ShanghaiC -60, Hangseng -86. STI closed +25 at 3431. Volume
was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 235 to 188 losers.
Trend of STI is inching up.
Top gainers were GoldenAgri +3, Noble
+7, IC unchanged, PacificAndes -0.2, Ezion -3, HPHTrust +1, Memstar unchanged,
Genting -1.5, FirstReit unchanged, BengKuang +0.5.
Market opened slightly positive but
gained strength to move up to a high of 3442. It pulled back slightly in
the afternoon to close at 3431. Blue chips were mostly firmer. Penny
and speculatives were mixed.
Europe is weaker at this moment while
Dow's future is now slightly up.
