European bourses were firm last night.
Dow -28 closing at 17635. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future
is now +70. Europe opened flat.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+268, ShanghaiC +58, Hangseng +80. STI closed -9 at 3369. Volume
was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 199 to 253 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Armarda +0.1, SIIC
+0.6, IHC unchanged, MoyaAsia +0.3, Noble +1, IPC +0.5, Yoma +5, DarcoWater
-0.2, GoldenAgri unchanged, Genting unchanged.
STI opened down, crept up to +2 for
a moment and slipped back to negative for the rest of the day. It closed
off its low of -21, closing at -9. Blue chips were slightly more
gainers than losers. Penny and speculatives were weaker.
European bourses are marginally down
at the moment while Dow's future is now +70.
