European bourses were flat and mixed
last night. Dow closed +260 at 17895. Downtrend of Dow is stopped
for the mement. Dow's future is now +13. Europe opened mixed
and flat.
Asian biourses were mostly firmer. Nikkei
+263, ShanghaiC +24, Hangseng +25. STI closed -5 at 3368. Volume
was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 212 to 215 losers.
Trend of STI is still down.
Top volumes were SIIC +1.4, Magnus unchanged,
SinoConstruction -1.3, IHC unchanged, Noble +2.5, Biosensors +1, MDR unchanged,
Genting -0.5, Albedo +0.1, Yoma +0.5.
STI opened flat and stayed slightly
positive for an hour before slipping to negative for the rest of the session.
It closed near day low, -5 pts. Blue chips were slightly firmer.
Speculatives and penny stocks were mixed. It was another quiet session.
