European bourses closed mixed on Friday.
Dow -146 at 17749. Dow's trend can go either way at the moment.
Dow's future is now +62. Europe opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-8, ShanghaiC +76, Hangseng +126. STI closed +15 at 3378. Volume
was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 164 to 297 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turning
up.
Top volumes were SIIC -0.4, Magnus unchanged,
IHC unchanged, Noble -2, Tigerair +1.5, Biosensors +2, Armarda -0.1, Blumont
-0.1, Unifiber unchanged,
STI opened flat but moved up quickly
to stay positive for the rest of the session. Blue chips were weaker but
index stocks were pushed up to move the index higher. General market was
down.
Europe and Dow's tuture are positive
and looking steady for tonight.
