Europe were closed on May Day. Dow
closed +184 on Friday. Dow's trend is trying to pull back up. Dow's
future is now +39. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed today. Nikkei
+12, ShnaghaiC +36, Hangseng -9. STI closed -11 at 3476. Volume was
1.6b shares. Gainers wer 183 to 302 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were MDR unchanged, Stratech
+0.9, ChinaNewTown +1, IHC unchanged, WE -0.1, PacificAndes +0.3, SinoConstruction
-0.1, Jaya -0.5, Si2i unchanged, GoldenAgri -1.
STI opened marginally up but fell after
half an hour and stayed negative for the rest of the session. Blue chips
were generally weaker. The general market saw more losers than gainers.
Looking like selling in May and going away.
Europe and Dow's future are positive
at the moment.
