STI closed -51 at 3347. Volume was 1.6b shsres. Gainers were 144 to 346
losers.

Top gainers were Debao +2.1, SingTel -15, Noble -5, IHC unchanged,
GoldenAgri +1, Stratech -0.3, LionGold -0.3, SIIC unchanged, HPHTrust -0.5,
MDR -0.1.
Market opened down and slid down further to close at day low. Blue chips
were mostly down with double digit losses to banks and the heavyweights.
Overall market were mostly down.
