Europe and Dow were up on Friday. Dow closed +212 at 17760. Short term trend of Dow is turning up. Dow's future at the moment is +59. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses continued to make gains. Nikkei +310, ShanghaiC +93, Hangseng +323. STI closed +34 at 3314. Volume was 1.6b shares, Gainers were 261 to 183 losers.
Short term trend of STI is firming up.
Top volumes were Digiland unchanged, CEFC +2.6, IHC unchanged, Vallianz +0.4, MunSiong unchanged, Ezra +0.2, MDR +0.1, Stratech +0.2, ICP +0.2, Debao unchanged.
Market opened up and stayed up for the whole session. STI made further gains in late afternoon when Europe opened firm in line with Asian bourses. Blue chips were mostly in the green. The general market was firmer.
