Europe and Dow were relatively flat last night. Dow closed -3 at 18050. Trend of Dow is still up. Dow's future is now +66. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +137, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng +107. STI closed +11 at 3350. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 243 to 164 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were CEFC +1.6, NewSilkroutes unchanged, IHC unchanged, Artivision +0.5, Noble -1, Ezra +0.1, HPHTrust -1.5, Jaya +0.2, Debao -0.1, ChinaNewTown +0.7.
STI opened up and stayed up the whole session but with small gains. Blue chips were generally firmer. The general market also saw more gainers than losers on a 2:1 ratio.
Europe and Dow are looking for a firm closing tonight.
