Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +190 at 17630. Down trend of Dow is seeing a day of gains. Dow's future is now +22. Europe bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -26, ShanghaiC +127, Hangseng +116. STI closed +3 at 3284. Volume was 2.1b shares. Gainers were 192 to 246 losers.
Trend of STI is still down.
Top volumes were Stratech +0.9, ChinaSports -0.5, ChinaEssence +0.6, HuAnCable +0.6, ChineseGlobal -0.5, IHC unchanged, WE unchanged, SinoConstruction +0.2, Ezra -0.5.
STI opened up and stayed positive the whole session. It closed near its day low with a small gain of 3 points. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was slightly weaker. Shanghai and Hongkong's recovery helped to stabilise the market from falling.
European bourses turning positive with marginal gains. Dow's future is slightly up at this moment.
