European bourses suffered 3 digit losses last night. Dow was down in early training but recovered in the second half of the session to close +93 at 17777. Trend of Dow is still down but steady. Dow's future is now -202.
Asian bourses fell sharply today. Nikkei -639, ShanghaiC -220, Hangseng - 1459. STI closed -65 at 3277. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 103 to 446 losers.
STI is starting to point down.
Top volumes were LifeBrandz -0.1, QT Vascular -0.5, SIIC -0.8, GoldenAgri -1.5, WE -0.1, Noble -1.5, APAC unchanged, Yuuzoo -2.5, IHC unchanged.
STI opened down 10 pts, It then fell through the rest of the session affected by the weaknesses in regional bourses. It fell further in the afternoon to close near day low. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market saw losers to gainers in the ratio of 4:1.
Europe is strengthening and slightly positive at the moment. Dow's future is now -173, recovering slightly from earlier position.
