Europe were slightly down last night. Dow closed +68. Trend of Dow is creeping up with a golden crossing. Dow's future is now -36. European bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were down with sharp falls in Shanghai -245 and Hangseng -340. Nikkei -66. STI closed -18 at 3050. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 122 to 372 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble -4, Stratech -0.8, ResourcesPrima 1.4, Ezion -6, GreatGroup -1.5, Ezra -0.6, IHC unchanged, LifeBrandz unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, NewSilkroutes -0.1.
STI opened up and stayed up past noon. It started to fall in mid afternoon with Shanghai and Hangkong falling steeply. STI closed at day low but losing only 18 pts. Blue chips were mostly in the red though up in the morning. The general market was weaker.
European bourses have started to turn positive while Dow's future is now -29.
