Europe and Dow were sharply down last night. Dow -163 closing at 17349. Trend of Dow has turned down again. Dow's future at the moment is -79. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei - 189, ShanghaiC -129, Hangseng -410. STI closed -30 at 3011. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 112 to 420 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Stratech -0.8, MDR unchanged, Noble +0.5, IHC unchanged, Ezion -3, APAC unchanged, SooKee IPC cosed at 24.5c, Genting +1, Ezra -0.3, Vallianz -0.4.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole day. It closed off its low of 3001, at 3011. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The overall market was down with loser gainer ration 1:4.
Europe and Dow's future at the moment are down.
