Another big gains in Europe and Dow last night. Dow closed +369 at 16655. Trend of Dow is turning up. Dow's future is now -120. European bourses opened down,
Asian bourses were mostly up but Hangseng -226 after staying positive in early trading. Nikkei +562, ShanghaiC +151. STI closed +8 at 2953. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 279 to 211 losers.
Trend of STI is also turning up.
Top volumes were Ezra +0.8, Noble +0.5, IHC unchanged, Jaya +0.3, Stratech -0.3, PacificAndes unchanged, QTVascular +0.9, GoldenAgri unchanged, SingTel -6, Vallianz -0.1.
STI opened up and hit a day high of 2999. It fell back in the last hour of trading to close at day low at 2954. Blue chips were mostly up but banks gave back all the gains in early tradings. The general market was a little firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at the moment and looks like there will also be profit taking tonight before the weekend.
