Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +229 at 16600. Trend of Dow is turning up. Dow's future at the moment is -4. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +145, ShanghaiC +147, Hangseng +511. STI closed+31 at 2872. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 284 to 146 losers.
Trend of STI is still sideways.
Top volumes were NewSilkroutes unchanged, Ezra +0.3, Noble -1, MDR unchanged, Genting +4.5, Stratech +0.1, GeoEnergy +0.1, ChinaSky -0.6, YZJ +5, Yuuzoo +1.2.
STI opened up and stay positive for the whole day. It gained more strength in mid afternoon but closed off its day high of 2887. Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was firmer.
European bourses are still up at this moment while Dow's future is marginally down.
