Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow +390 at 16493. Trend of Dow is breaking up. Dow's future is now +186. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses recovered strongly. Nikkei +1343, ShanghaiC +73, Hangseng +872. STI closed +38 at 2924. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 318 to 137 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were Ezra -0.2, Yuuzoo +0.3, IHC unchanged, RexIntl +0.8, Noble -0.5, SingTel +12, ChinaNewTown +0.8, GeoEnergy -2, Sunningdale +0.3, NewSilkroutes unchanged.
Market opened up and stayed up for the whole session. It continued to climb higher in mid afternoon to close at near day high of 2931. Blue chips were mostly up with banks taking the lead. The general market was also firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are positive at the moment and looking very firm for tonight.
