Europe and Dow had a small rally last night. Dow closed +198 at 17780. Dow's uptrend that was weak resumes its climb. Dow's future is now -64. Europe opened relatively flat and mixed.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +33, ShanghaiC +13, Hangseng -139. STI closed -35 at 3006. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers and losers were 162 to 264.
Trend of STI is confirmed turning down.
Top volumes were Noble -1.5, Addvalue -0.3, Ezra -0.2, RexIntl +0.2, LoyzEnergy +0.3, Stratech -0.3, MDR unchanged, SingTel -6, HPHTrust unchanged.
STI opened flat, turned positive for a while and then fell to negative to close near day low. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was weaker.
Europe is still mixed while Dow's future is now drifting further down to -70.
