Europe closed mixed but Dow +248 pts to close at 17737. Trend of Dow is turning up. Dow's future at the moment is +57. European bourses opened sharply up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +211, ShanghaiC +49, Hangseng +312. STI closed +39 at 2925. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 263 to 151 losers.

Top volumes were Spackman +1, Jumbo +7.5, Noble +0.5, QTVascular +0.5, Elektromotive -0.1, MMP +0.1, Rowsley +0.2, GoldenAgri +0.5, ChinaSkyChem +0.1, Ezra +0.1.
STI gapped up on opening and continued to make gains through the day to close near day high. Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was firmer with more gainers than losers.
Europe and Dow's future are all up at the moment.
