Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow +228 at 16167. Trend of Dow is turning up again and MACDs posed for a golden crossing. Dow's future at this moment is -54. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly up but ShanghaiC -14. Nikkei +455, Hangseng +192. STI closed +6 at 2552. Volume was 960m shares. Gainers were 228 to 183 losers.
Trend of STI is still looking down.
Top volumes were Noble unchanged, GlobalLogistic -5, SingTel +3, GoldenAgri +1, Ezra +0.1, Biosensors -1, Terratech +1.6, Genting unchanged, HPHTrust -0.5, SIIC +2.
STI opened up but slipped down quickly. It managed to maintain positive for the rest of the session staying about 10 pts up. In the last hour of trading it slid further and closed near day low with only a 6 pt gain. Blue chips still saw more gainers than losers. Overall market was slightly positive. Volume was below the 1b mark.
European bourses are turning slightly positive at this moment. Dow's future is down.
