Dow and Europe were down last night. Trend of Dow is slipping down again. Dow's future is now +34. European bourses opened negative but turning positive now.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -372. Hongkong and Shanghai closed. STI closed -47 at 2576. Volume was 860m shares. Gainers were 99 to 287 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were Noble -0.5, GlobalLogistic -5, LionGold +0.1, SingTel -4, Ezra -0.1, Genting -2, CapitalMallTrust -2, GoldenAgri -1, HPHTrust -1.
STI opened sharply down but recovered some losses to close near day high, losing only 47 pts. Blue chips were mostly down and so was the over market with loser gainer ratio at 1:3. Volume was below 1b shares.
European bourses and Dow's future at the moment are firming up.
