Europe were slightly down last night but Dow continued its upward march with a small gain of 22 points. Dow closed at 17252. Trend of Dow is up bu looks like levelling. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mxied., Nikkei -143, ShanghaiC +6, Hangseng -31. STI closed +4 at 2843. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 218 to 198 losers.
Tredn of STI is still up.
Top volumes were IPCO +0.2, LionGold +0.1, Annica unchanged, Ezra +0.1, InnoPac unchanged, Blumont unchanged, Joyas +0.2, APAC unchanged, Albedo +0.1, Magnus unchanged.
STI opened marginally up and staved that way for most the the session with a bit of weakening after lunch to stay barely positive. It closed flat at +1. Blue chips were still quite firm. The general market was mixed. The run up is looking like losing steam and lethargy is setting in.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly up at this moment.
