Europe closed mixed on Friday but Dow continued to climb, closing +120 at 17602. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future at the moment is -25. European bourse opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +65, Hangseng +13. STI closed -28 at 2879. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 163 to 297 losers.
Trend of STI is still up but seeing a first fall.
Top Volumes were OKH -27.9, Spackman +1.2, Ezra -0.3, Annica unchanged, Noble =2, AnchorResources +1, Ezion -1, Magnus unchanged, Yoma -0.5, SingTel -3.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole session with analysts expecting a correction. There was a bit of short covering in the last half an hour to move it off its day low of 2867. Blue chips were mostly in the red and so was the general market. There could be more weaknesses if the correction continues.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly down at the moment.
