European bourses were slightly up last night but Dow closed -23 at 17828. Trend of Dow is still looking up. Dow's future at the moment is +8. European bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +62, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng +180. STI closed +29 at 2803. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 235 to 159 losers.
Trend of STI is looking up.
Top volumes were Magnus unchanged, Noble -0.5, HPHTrust +2, ThaiBev +1, TechOil -1.5, Genting +2.5, Ezra -0.1, CMPacific unchanged, SingTel +7, RexIntl +0.1.
STI opened up and stayed up the whole session. It gained strength after lunch to continue its climb to close near day high. Blue chips were mostly higher led by the banks. The general market was also firmer.
European bourses are slightly down at this moment while Dow's future is marginally up.
