Europe closed mixed last night while Dow continued with another day of gains. Dow closed +134 at 18506. Trend od Dow is up. Dow's future at the moment is -13. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +112, Shanghai flat, Hangseng +98. STI closed+9 at 2916. Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 254 to 211 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were NobleR +0.8, Annica unchanged, Noble +0.4, ResourcesPrima 0.01, Spackman -0.9, AllianceMineral +0.8, MMPResources +0.1, Geoenergy +0.8, GoldenAgri -0.5.
STI opened up but gave up some of its gains in the afternoon. It closed near its day low with +9 pts. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was slightly firmer.
Europe and Dow's future at the moment are slightly down.
