Europe closed mixed and flat last night. Dow closed -78 at 18495. Chart of Dow is starting to turn down. Dow's future is now +2. Europe opened mixed and flat.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -237, ShanghaiC +34, Hangseng +138. STI closed -5 at 2925. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 173 to 225 losers.
Trend of STI is flattening.
Top volumes were Annica unchanged, Katrina, IPO closed at 34c. Noble -0.3, Ezra -0.1, CNMC +5.5, ThaiBev +3, Addvalue +0.1, GoldenAgri +0.5, Genting -2.5, AscendasReit +9.
STI opened down but turned positive marginally after lunch only to fall back to marginally negative and stayed there till closing. Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was slightly weaker.
Europe and Dow's future are flat at the moment.
