Europe were up but Dow closed -23 at 17896. Short term trend of Dow is slightly up. Dow's future is now +8. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly weaker. Nikkei -169, ShanghaiC -28, Hangseng -143. STI closed -17 at 2845. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 170 to 234 losers.
Short term trend of STI is up but weakening.
Top volumes were NobleR -1.8, Noble -1.5, Spackman +0.5, AnchorResources +0.7, SingTel -3, ResourcesPrima +0.3, LionGold unchanged, CNMC -0.3.5, Jadason +0.4, Ezra -0.2.
STI opened flat but fell to negative immediately and stayed negative for the rest of the session. It closed off its day low with some covering in the last hour. Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was weaker.
European bourses are up at the moment while Dow's future is marginally up.
