Europe and Dow were down yesterday. Dow closed -123 at 19971. The short break up is turning down again. Dow's future at this moment is -18. European bourses opened down but turning positive now.
Asian bourses closed flat and mixed but Nikkei fell sharply -328. China closed. Hangseng -13. STI closed -20 at 3045. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 173 to 189 losers.
Trend of STI weakening.
Top volumes were Equation -0.1, OLS -0.2, QTVascular -0.6, Spackman +1.3, Noble -0.2, GSSEnergy +1.1 GoldenAgri +0.5, LionGold unchanged, ThaiBev +1.5, AllianceMineral +0.6.
STI opened down and fell further and was at its low be noon. Subsequently it recovered from its low of 3031 to close at 3047, -18. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was mixed.
European bourses are slightly up at this moment but Dow's future slightly down.
