Europe and Dow fell for another session yesterday. Dow closed -107 at 19864. Trend of Dow is turning down. European bourses are up on opening.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +107, Shanghai closed, Hangseng -42. STI closed +17 at 3065. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 245 to 151 losers.
Trend of STI is firming up again.
Top volumes were Equation +0.2, QTVascular +0.2, Alliance Mineral +0.6, Noble unchanged, ParksonRetail +0.2, Spackman -0.3, HealthwayMed +0.1, ThaiBev +0.5, GSSEnergy -0.1, GlobalLogistic -2.
STI opened flat, dipped to negative for an hour and turned positive for the rest of the session. It gained more strength in late afternoon following Europe's firm opening and closed near its day high. Blue chips were mostly up. The overall market was also firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
