European bourses were slightly up last night. Dow closed -5 at 20657. Trend of Dow is still slipping down. European bourses opened marginally down.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +177, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng +31. STI closed +14 at 3141. Volume was 2.3b shares. Gainers were 223 to 171 losers.
Trend of STI is attempt to turn back up.
Top volumes were ISRCapital -0.4, DISA unchanged, Chasen +1.7, Artivision unchanged, LionGold unchanged, Noble unchanged, AllianceMineral +3, C&G Env -9.1, Spackman +0.8, ThaiBev -1.
STI opened flat and quickly turned positive. It crept up slowly through the day and strengthening in last afternoon to close near day high with a gain of 14 points. Blue chips saw more gainers than losers. The general market was slightly firmer.
European bourses are still relatively flat and mixed at this moment. Dow's future is up.
