Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +217, ShanghaiC -14, Hangseng +152. STI closed +30 at 3157. Volume was 2.7b shares. Gainers ere 300 to 136 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.

STI opened and kept moving up through the session, gaining more in the afternoon when European bourses opened up. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was up.
