Last Friday Dow closed -28 and European bourses were similarly weaker. Up
trend of Dow is weakening. Dow's future at this moment is -14. European
bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -46, ShanghaiC +25, Hangseng closed.
STI closed -5 at 3381. Volume was a low of 550m shares in quiet trading.
Gainers were 138 to 180 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were AlliedTech -0.2, Rowsley -0.5, Cosco -2, Jiutian -0.1, SingTel -1, ThaiBev -0.5, GoldenAgri -1, Imperium
unchanged, LippoMallsTr +1, Nobel -3.4.
STI opened flat, turned positive for an hour before sliding down to
negative. It stayed slightly negative for the rest of the session closing
off its day low, at -5. Blue chips were mixed while the general market was
slightly weaker.
