European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -98 at 26018. Trend
of Dow is up. Dow's future is now +30. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +45, ShanghaiC +14, Hangseng +133.
STI closed +26 at 3549. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 248 to 155
losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up but levelling.
Top volumes were AlliedTech -0.1, Blumont +0.2, GoldenAgri -0.5,
SembcorpMarine +20, Cosco +1.5, APAC unchanged, Midas +0.3, HuAn -0.1,
Jiutian unchanged JEP -0.2.
STI opened slightly down but crawled its way back to positive. By mid
morning it was more than 10 points up. More gains were made after mid
afternoon and it closed just off its day high, at +26. Blue chips were
firmer and the general market also saw more gainers than losers.
